The Four Best Things to Do, See & Eat in Hoi An
If it’s mystic wander you’re after, you are in for a treat. The ancient streets of Hoi An transport you to a time long before you existed. Making its way on to most peoples Vietnam itinerary due to it’s UNESCO World Heritage Site trophy, It’s no wonder it’s a favourite for most.
An unexpected delight for the four of us, we planted our toes beachside in the little town 20 minutes cycle from Hoi An’s famous ancient Old Town, opting for a quaint homestay run by a delightful local family. With breakfast in our tummies, a swift bike ride across the riverbanks and paddy fields we were on our way. We were told this place would be a marvel but had no idea of the magic to overcome us. Totally charmed!
And if you get sweaty on your bike ride in to town from the beach, don’t worry! Being the tailoring capital of Vietnam, they’ll whip you up a new dress in no time.
Like stepping through Narnia’s magic wardrobe the second you step in to the Old Town you’re transported to another realm. Make time to wander across the Japanese bridge and meander through the little cobbled, laundry lined, lantern filled back streets for a real glimpse in to local life.
Sitting on the Thu Bon River, with a 16th century bridge stealing the show, take a sunset boat ride with a local and set a river lantern off in the water to make a wish for good luck. With no shortage of artists, galleries, tea houses and rooftop restaurants, Hoi An will charm your socks off. It feels as if you’re walking through a painting.
The Four Highlights

You might have seen it in the photos but when you see this Ancient port with your own eyes lit up with every colour of the rainbow you feel like your on the set of the Disney movie Mulan. It really is one of the most charming places we've ever witnessed!
Don’t miss the chance to get some clobber made! Seriously guys and girls, they can whip up anything within 24 hours (and it’s damn good).
